Sitcom Mission Showcase 2025. Showcasing 15 minute sitcom scripts, written by the long list of our competition finalists.

After our visit to Canal Café last year, Sitcom Mission is back! With an emphasis firmly on script development, Sitcom Mission is an international sitcom writing competition. We showcase 15-minute sitcom scripts in front of the British TV and radio comedy industry.

Over the last 12 years, several of our winners have had their work optioned and are now working as full- time comedy writers. They’ve also had their scripts seen by a who’s who of British comedy commissioning, including Shane Allen, Lucy Lumsden, Ben Boyer, Saskia Schuster, Myfanwy Moore, Gregor Sharp, Tilusha Ghelani, Chris Sussman, Paul Schlesinger, Iain Coyle and Tanya Qureshi.

For our 2025 competition, we’ve selected 6 scripts and worked with the writers to develop them for tonight’s showcase. These 6 will be whittled down to 4 and developed further, ready for the industry showcase at the end of June.
