WELCOME TO THE
CANAL CAFE THEATRE
Award-winning Canal Café Theatre has been perched on the edge of the Regent’s Canal since the 70’s . It is a renowned comedy, cabaret and theatre venue and over the years has helped launch some of the biggest names in Comedy ranging from John Oliver to the League of Gentlemen to Miranda Hart. Other notable comedians to have trodden the boards of the Canal include Eddie Izzard, The Mighty Boosh, Catherine Tate and Dara O’Briain to name but a few. In 2002, an in-house production of Lucky Stiff made history by being the only Fringe Theatre production to be nominated in the Whatsonstage Awards for Best Musical Revival in the same category as the likes of Kiss Me Kate and My Fair Lady in the West End.
Home to Guinness World Record-Breaking NewsRevue and boasting a jam-packed program of world-class theatre and comedy, this 60 seat theatre is based above the charming Bridge House Pub, which is perfect for pre and post show dining and drinks. *Please note, due to Covid-19 we will be operating on a reduced capacity of 30 seats*

If you or a member of your household/party has been required to self-isolate or suspects they may have symptoms of Covid-19, please do not attend the theatre. In this instance, please contact us via email on email@example.com to discuss our Covid-19 returns policy.
During your visit to the theatre, please:
- Wear a face covering when in the common areas of the theatre and the pub including the foyer, stairwell and auditorium. You are welcome to remove this when seated or when enjoying a drink or snack!
- Check into the Canal Cafe Theatre track and trace and the Bridge House track and trace upon arrival. Posters for both will available in the foyer.

Canal Cafe Theatre Box Office
The box office and auditorium will open 20 minutes prior to the show start time.
In line with Tier 2 regulations, you will only be able to attend the theatre with other members of your household. Please note this when making a booking with us.
All our tickets are now digital and they will be scanned by a member of our team upon arrival. There is no need to print these tickets instead, please ensure you have the barcode available on your phone or tablet.

If you think you’re going to be late, please contact the theatre ahead of time in order to arrange your arrival.
It is always best to book to avoid disappointment, and as the seating is arranged by tables, even more so if you have a large group and want to sit together. Due to Covid-19, we currently offer tables of two to abide by social distancing regulations however if you would like to make a group booking, please do contact the team on email@example.com.
Please note that this is a members-only theatre. We do charge £1.50 per person on the first ticket you buy. You will then be issued with a membership card (valid for one year) – hold on to it, pop it in your wallet and bring it along when you come next time too. (Oh, and if you get it stamped 4 times within the year, you can trade it in for a free ticket see NewsRevue on a Thursday or Sunday evening!)
Canal Cafe Theatre Food & Drinks
We are excited to announce our new pre-order food and drinks menu in partnership with the Bridge House pub! This will be available to all ticket holders as part of the booking process.
Although theatres are exempt from the Tier 2 regulation which requires customers to order a substantial meal with an alcoholic drink, we are still encouraging all ticket holders to comply with this as we are pub-theatre venue. A bundle of 3 snacks for £11 counts as a substantial meal for one person and the sharers can be had between two. However, this is not mandatory and you will be able to place a drink/food order on arrival if necessary.
If you choose to submit a pre-order, this will be delivered to you once you have taken your seats in the auditorium.
Payment for any pre-orders will be taken once you are seated. No advance payment is necessary!
You will receive an email on the day of your visit with instructions on how to submit your pre-order.
If you would like to spend time in the pub before or after the show, tables at the Bridge House Pub can be booked by calling 02072664326 or by visiting their website www.thebridgehouselittlevenice.co.uk/
