A themed scratch night- resurrecting creativity.

After two sold out debut shows at the Canal Café Theatre, Itchy Feet is back with another themed scratch night. This time the theme is Resurrection.

Putting 5 new writers to the test to create ground-breaking new theatre inspired by this theme. Jake Mckenna, Isla Rodriguez Mulrooney, CJ Jones, Tom Rowntree and Bertie Pearson have written 5 new amazing pieces of theatre, creating new writing that speaks to the audiences of today.

Pitching their ideas back in February, going on to workshop their ideas in multiple writers groups, challenging and changing their ideas to create bold, brilliant and occasionally blasphemous work.

Not only are we creating theatre, but a new scratch night means a new zine, with poetry, illustrations, writing, art work and much more all inspired by resurrection. The endless ideas stimulated by one word is something you don’t want to miss.

We can’t wait for our second Itchy Feet night and look forward to seeing you all there to resurrect your love of theatre.
