CARPET

My flat is drowning, my flatmates are wild, I choose to live on TikTok.

Lily was enjoying her stay in a riverside flat with two nice flatmates, until her room got drowned. Again, and again. While trying to sort out the papers so she can move, her “joint contract friendship” also fell apart. Time passes and a photography exhibition brings the group back together, and the girls realise the problem was really coming from somewhere else.

Do you call your flatmates “Friends”?

Would your friendship last after the joint contract ends?

Perhaps London is not where you should get attached to people and places, but when trouble hits what do you do?

Do you blame the other people or do you work together to address the elephant in the room?
