Everyone has a voice in their head that tells them to give up. Her’s just happens to be Ernest Hemingway.
A blocked writer struggles to meet a looming deadline, but she’s being haunted by the subject of her last flop: Ernest Hemingway. Ernest is here to criticize Erin’s writing habits and drink daiquiris… and he’s all outta daiquiris! So what do you do when Ernest Hemingway won’t leave you alone and you really need to get your work done?
No, seriously, what do you do? Because he won’t f*cking leave!
Brain Hemingway explores themes of failure and self-doubt, but not in a boring way like in one of those Checkhov snooze-fests. There’s crude jokes, a couple of musical numbers, and plenty of cockle-warming Hemingway stories, like the one about the time Ernest beat a marlin to death with a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue or something!
